OUR STORY

DESIGNED WITH PURPOSE. BUILT FOR REAL LIFE.

Hot Box began with a simple idea: serious sauna performance shouldn’t require a dedicated room, complicated installation, or a compromise in quality. Founder Brady Canales set out to create a sauna built around the way people actually live—compact, powerful, and thoughtfully engineered.

FROM IDEA TO HOT BOX

BUILT AROUND A BETTER SAUNA EXPERIENCE

Hot Box combines traditional heat, infrared, and red light in one patented design. With a cedar interior, wool insulation, stainless steel hardware, shielded heating components, Wi-Fi control, and flat-pack construction, it delivers a powerful, refined sauna experience that fits real life.

WHAT SETS HOT BOX APART

EVERY DETAIL ANSWERS A

PROBLEM WE FOUND ELSEWHERE

We didn’t set out to build another sauna. We set out to fix what was wrong with the ones
already out there. Here’s how The Hot Box compares.

WHY IT MATTERS

EVERY CHOICE, MADE ON PURPOSE

When your body heats up, your heart rate rises, blood vessels open and your cells

switch into repair mode. Here's where beoble teel it.

TEMPERATURE

Built for serious heat

Hot Box reaches traditional sauna temperatures up to 212°F—giving you the high-heat experience many lower-temperature infrared saunas simply don’t deliver.

MATERIALS

Fewer synthetic interior materials

Hot Box prioritizes real materials—Western Red Cedar, wool insulation, stainless steel, and incandescent glass heat sources—while minimizing unnecessary bonded and synthetic layers.

HEAT SOURCE

Hybrid heat, without carbon panels

Instead of relying on layered carbon panels, Hot Box uses incandescent infrared bulbs as part of its hybrid heating system—simpler materials, direct heat, and fewer synthetic layers.

WOOD

Western Red Cedar

Chosen for its natural properties, durability, and suitability for the high-heat sauna environment.

ELECTRICAL

Serious heat. Standard 120V power

Many traditional high-heat saunas require 220V electrical installation. Hot Box is designed to run on standard 120V household power with the appropriate dedicated circuit.

HARDWARE

Stainless steel where it matters

Durable, corrosion-resistant hardware designed to stand up to repeated heat, moisture, and everyday use.

PREHEAT

Less space to heat

The compact cockpit design reduces the volume that needs to come up to temperature. Actual preheat time varies with ambient conditions and your target temperature.

RED LIGHT

Incandescent, by design

Hot Box uses red-stained incandescent infrared bulbs rather than LED panels, combining visible red light with infrared heat from a single source. thehotboxsauna.com
